Minot Golden Kiwanis

Helping children in the local community

Minot Golden Kiwanis mission statement image
OUR MISSION IS TO SERVE THE YOUTH OF OUR COMMUNITY

The Minot Golden Kiwanis are meeting this mission by having served the Minot area for over 45 years. Most of you have seen us working at many sports activities in the Minot area, supporting the Salvation Army and volunteering at the Norsk Hostfest. Through our involvement with these activities we have been able to donate tens of thousands of dollars to the youth of the Minot area. If you have or had a youngster in the area, he or she has more than likely benefitted in some way, shape, or form through our donations. Some of our donations are backpack buddies, baseball uniforms, Y-camp, Music camp, Metigoshi Ministries, 2nd Story, after-prom parties, Homeless Coalition, Halloween candy, Make-A-Wish, YMCA swim program, and Magic City Discovery Center. We have donated to The Eliminate Project through which every one of our members can feel proud to know that we each have saved a child from an excruciating death from contracting tetanus in underdeveloped countries.
Please accept our invitation to join us on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 1:00pm weather permitting or contact Don Strube at 701-833-8326 with any questions.
